child tutee - reading and writing skills
- David continues to be a problem. He refused to bring his textbook and journal again. This time, he didn't even bring paper or something to write with.
- His attitude needs major work. He had a temper tantrum in the middle of the library, yelled out loud at his mom. He is very disrespectful.
- The entire tutoring session was a waste of my time. After the temper tantrum, David ran outside and hid in the parking lot. When he returned, he refused to do anything. He sat quietly and stared at the table for 30 minutes.
Lessons learned: I don't blame David entirely for his attitude or behavior - I blame his parents. His parents need lessons on parenting.
