She talked to me about the politics in Basque country of Spain and Valencia how both want to secede from Spain. Janire actually learned basque language before learning Spanish. She has 1 sister, a dog, and some really great parents. Last year, Janire went to a school in Missouri, but it wasn't fulfilling her needs so she was able to transfer to FSU, thankfully.
I discussed my upcoming trip to Spain with her and she gave me some pointers. I learned about some places to visit in Barcelona and what food to eat there, Also, we talked about Valencia (Paella), Granada (Tapas) and a little about Morocco. I'll be heading to all those places.
Family structure in Spain is different than here. I was surprised to learn that it is very typical for children to live with their parents as far past the age of adulthood as it takes to find a spouse. Janire, However, chose to move out at 18 and be independent.
