Today we spent our time talking about this special day. I read him the articles why he took notes, This helped his listening and writing fluency. I think it was good to talk about this scientific stuff even though he has already passed the TOEFL. He is continuing his education so he needs to continue learning and practicing writing fluency to take notes in class. He confessed he was behind in some of his lessons. Our time together has given him much more confidence. He doesn't seem as timid as before and he continues to open up to me about his girl troubles. Today was a sad day for him because one of his friends died. I was wondering why he was acting weird. But I showed him how to look up in the Tallahassee Democrat online (tallahassee.com) and the obituaries to find funeral information.
all in all he said it was a good learning experience today, but that he was a little distracted.
