Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned: I learned about where my conversation partner came from, and why she ended up moving to the U.S. She told me about how she met her husband and ended up marrying him here. We also got on the topic of how the same word in Spanish can mean something different in different Spanish countries. She also talked to me about some differences she faces here that she is not used to facing in Peru, such as the people, the traffic, and the overall culture.
