Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: Ayun was a challenge for me this session, she was more comfortable and I think because of it a much less easy to focus and keep on task. I  honestly feel she's very near if not already a native speaker of English. She's a clever 6 year old and everything I've brought to her that I find which is kindergaten appropriate is very simple for her. I think I'll have to go up a year or get more creative with how we go over things. I prepared several worksheets about things like the correct tense use in a sentence (yesterday or tomorrow?), correct punctuation (what goes here?), word to picture recognition, sorting words based on the alphabet, and a couple of math sheets to change it up a little. Also a maze because she loves mazes. We also read for a while, first I would go and then she would. Her pronunciation is off for certain words just slightly but I feel like it's only because she hasn't encountered them much yet. She can say like them like she knows what they mean though haha. I let her pick the books, but I think next time I may pick one and try to be sure we get through the majority of it together.
