Topic/Skill: Listening and Speaking skills
Feedback provided to tutee: I explained to the tutee that on of the major issues with his speaking was knowing when to add an s/es to a verb. We then went over several sentences to practice the skill and then had him make up a couple of his own. I then played several english conversations to the tutee and had him listen and answer questions to check his comprehension.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned:  The tutee was aware of the rules about adding s/es to verbs but had difficulty applying it to speech without very slowly piecing together sentences. This showed me that even though a student may have command over a certain skill in writing, it does not mean it will transfer to speech.
