Location: CIES student lounge
Topic: Many topics were covered! It was our first cultural workshop session so we first had a short introduction and then split into groups to discuss a worksheet we received the night before. We spoke to others about where we are from, what our interests/values are, what makes us the person we feel we are today, what we want for our futures and what is important to us daily, etc. We also met one on one for a shorter period to answer similar questions (what's the hot topic of your country right now? what is a typical meal for you? and so on).
Cultural/Linguistic topics: See above :) One thing I distinctly remembering learning however is that pets are not permitted in some nations.
