Conversation
- Conversation took place at the CIES cultural exchange event.
- Introductions were slow. As a group, only 1 student spoke at a time, limiting intro/talking time for each student.
- 1 on 1 conversations were more efficient. It gave students the time to ask us various questions. Students' English speaking and comprehension levels were more advanced than anticipated. Conversations were clear and went smoothly.
Lessons learned: 1 on 1 conversations were more beneficial to students. Groups should be 3 to 1 student to TEFL student ratio. More than 1 TEFL student per group is too many.
