Topic Skills: writing
Feedback provided to tutee: Today we went over the feedback
provided by his teacher. He had trouble understading what the teacher was
meaning so we went over that. I told him when drafting, meaning is most
important and then to go back and edit grammar. He should work on this strategy
to increase fluency.
Lesson(s) about tutoring/ tutee: He knows what he means to say,
but I think he still needs work expressing his thoughts and being more
creative. I would like to try more creative exercises with him because I think
it could be a good skill used in his normal academic writing.
