Feedback provided to tutee:  For this session, my child tutee brought a book that his school had assigned him to read three times for homework.  In the hour that we had, the tutee barely made it through the book one time, as he seemed very distracted.  At least half of the words in the book were not automatic to him, so instead of just telling him the word right away, I tried to work through it and see if he could sound it out.  
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned:  It is good to find a book that the tutee is interested in. Because as much as my tutee sis not want to be tutored today, he did want to know what happened in the book.
