Feedback provided to tutee: For this session, my child tutee brought a book that his school had assigned him to read three times for homework. His reading speed was much improved from our last session, and we were able to get through the book three times with time to spare. Like before, instead of just telling him the word right away, I tried to work through it and see if he could sound it out.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: A child's attitude really makes a difference on the amount of material they are willing and able to take in.
