Feedback provided to tutee: For this session, my tutee expressed the desire to have normal conversation with me, but have error correction built into the process. I decided that the topic of our discussion would be our lives in our home countries, as that would give ample room for me to talk and check his comprehension. Error correction and comprehension checks were provided to the tutee.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: It is important to stop every once in a while while speaking to your tutee, as they might not have understood what you said, but nodded and smiled anyway like they had.
