Topics Discussed: I explained how the politics are in Spain. I told my
cultural partner that I live in the Basque Country, which is a different place
from Spain. Some people want to be independent as well as in Barcelona. In both
regions, we speak different languages (Basque and Catalan). So, I told to my
partner that I learned Basque since I was a child in the school. I told her
that I am from a bilingual country. I also provided some cultural differences.
For instance, in the US, people live with their parents until they are 18 or
so, and then, they live on their own. In Spain, however, people tend to stay
with their family and safe some money. Once they find a job, they leave their
parents’ home.
