Super great reading lesson with entitled Mandela's Garden.
There was a schema building and vocab discussion at first. Some students were being rowdy.
The instructor was really wonderful despite several students being not very attentive. She was patient and very energetic about the topic.\
We got a small portion of Nelsen Mandela's book (just 3 paragraphs) which described how he started the garden and what it meant in his life. It was quite poetic actually.
We worked in small groups to read the paragraphs and to discuss words we did not understand.
We were then presented with questions to discuss. The questions resembled TOEFL questions.
I had a great time and the lesson was really great
