Foundations level - listening and word pronunciation
I came into CIES on a Wednesday to ensure I have enough tutoring hours before Friday. Only 1 more to go.
- The same skills as yesterday were worked on today - listening and word pronunciation.
- Format yesterday worked well so utilized the same format today.
- Minimal pairs were used more today.
- Words with "th" at the end were also practiced.
- The students textbook was utilized for many of the words used today. With them reading the words in columns one at a time, I was able to better pick out the words/sounds they had the most difficulty with. These problem words were written on the board, spoken by me, and then practiced by students individually.
