What did you learn and share with your conversation partner(s): My
conversation partner and I talked about a few things for this meeting. We
talked about spring break, different foods and drinks we enjoy, and things that
have been going on in our lives. He told me how he couldn’t decide if he wanted
to go back home for it or go to San Diego but he ended up choosing to go to San
Diego. He based his decision on the travel time, since going to California is
much shorter of a flight. He’ll be visiting his friends there, and he also told
me that’s where he wants to move to go to school. I’m just going home for
spring break, but I said it will just be a nice time to relax. Since we were at
Starbucks, the conversation of tea and coffee came up. I’m a big tea person and
he told me of an Arabic coffee and tea he drinks. He also said that’s the only
kind of tea he likes, and wants me to try it sometime. I’m open to trying new
things so I’m interested to see what it tastes like.
