I went with Inhwa, Hyunji, and a couple of others to Wakullah Springs today. We originally planned to meet other CIES students there, but by the time we arrived, the CIES students were already on their way out. So we stayed together and had a picnic. Our conversations varied, but the most interesting one was about the differences between U.S police and Korean police. Korean police are apparently not as assertive as the U.S police, and (traffic) laws are a bit more lax in Korea than they are in the U.S. I also learned that guns are illegal in Korea; not even the police can carry them.
