Feedback provided to tutee:
We have steered yet again to speaking skills as my tutee is now more concerned about this than her listening. She has extensive notes when she presents, but she always has a difficult time organizing her thoughts. I helped her create an outline and focusing on matching her supporting arguments into a clear, consistent order. What she should focus on as she prepares is organization. She has many great ideas but has trouble explaining them. Organizing her notes will help alleviate this.
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned:
Her speaking skills have improved a lot. She is very good at self-monitoring, however, she really needs to focus on plurality of words. Since she is in group 3, she has hit the transition of needing to focus a little more on accuracy, not just fluency.
