Foundations level - sounds and words pronunciation

- Tutored an individual student who wanted to work on issues with sounds and word pronunciation.
- Improvements have been made since 4 weeks ago, with sounds and pronunciation.
- Many 2 letter sounds in English do not exist in French, so attempts have been made to correctly form the sounds. Still having much trouble with the 'th" sound.
- Various words that have been difficult in past sessions were written on the board for the student to listen to, then repeat.
- Night time session, the building is empty - no outside distractions or ambient noises so listening to me say specific sounds clearly was easier for the student.
- Unfortunately, because it is late, the student was anxious to leave.

Lessons learned: Positives and negatives to tutoring at night. It will come down to the student's motivation level.
