Date/Time: February
8, 2016, 9.00-10.00 Strozier Library.
Today we were meeting before I teach Spanish. So, we were mainly
discussing the differences between Spain and the US. I told her that in Spain
everything is walking distance and that the downtown area has plenty of
choices. However, in Tallahassee you need a car for everything, and the
transportation is not as great as in Spain. There is only one public bus which
goes to some grocery stores, but you cannot visit any place such as Wakulla
Springs, or the beach. So, everyone needs his own car / transportation.
We were also discussing the weather that in Spain the north part is rainier
than the south. And in the US, the weather is also similar (the north is much
colder and during the winter it snows).
